The Royal Bath and West Show

About: The Royal Bath & West Show at Shepton Mallet is a great celebration of the Countryside and the region’s best in all things equine. From showjumping to Pony Club Mounted Games, to qualifiers for the International Horse Show – there is something for everyone. There are also art exhibitions, rural crafts and local produce to a miniature railway, falconry displays and terrier racing – there's more happening than you think at the country's premier agricultural show. A great day out for families, friends and rural enthusiasts!
Donkey Summer Fair and dog show for Ivybridge charity

About: Come along for a Summer Fair and fun dog show on with free admission and plenty of fun for the whole family. Activities available include donkey grooming, a bouncy castle, a display from the Plymouth Morris Men, Donkey Assisted Therapy children awards, a demonstration from Canine Capers dog agility, Adopt a Donkey, a BBQ and much more! Bolesworth Showjumping Classic

About: A wonderful showcase of modern rural life, this show combines top-class equestrian sport with family entertainment. Last year visitors not only saw top-riders, but star chef Brian Mellor TV, celebrity hairdresser Tommy van der Veken and Britain's Got Talent stars, Kate and Gin. There was also a shopping village and a dog show – a great day out for all the family.

About: We are aiming to raise money for Spinal Research and The Nicholls Foundation on behalf of Claire Lomas. To confirm your place we will accept a small donation of a prize for our charity raffle, or payment of £25.00 (refundable on the day to avoid non-attendance). A bay with electric hook-up will be provided and you will have to provide your own stand. Emile Faurie will be demonstrating his horses and showing why he has competed at two Olympic Games and three European Dressage Championships.
Tristan Tucker will also be performing for the first time in the UK. If you wish to demonstrate a product, please contact us to discuss this, or with any requirments you have. The event will run between 10:30am and 7:30pm.

About: This Sporting & Wildlife Art auction will feature over 50 paintings of horses, which show a shift in the naturalistic representation of animals throughout the ages. The auction includes 113 lots with works from the 18th to the 20th centuries, ranging from £1,000 to £80,000. Among the highlights of the sale are four paintings by John Frederick Herring Senior.

About: Search for a Star, with categories for most areas of showing, aims to encourage amateur riders to produce their horseso a high standard, and gives them the chance to compete at the finals at Horse of the Year Show. The Racehorse to Riding Horse Show Championship was created to support and encourage the re-education of thouroughbreds taken out of racing for the show ring. (The series is supported by the charity Retraining of Racehorses, RoR)
The British Jumping Derby Meeting

About: The Derby is one of the most famous equestrian events in the world. Founded in 1960 by the late Douglas Bunn, it is the only competition that sees riders take on the front descent of the infamous Derby Bank, the biggest of its kind to be found anywhere in the world. It is an iconic event, that makes heroes of its human and equine stars, and in which the course itself is as famous as the horses and riders that embark upon it. No other event in the world asks this much of its entrants, and no other course creates this type of drama.
