Adventurers needed to trek across the Sierra Nevada mountains for Marie Curie
5 days in the saddle across the beautiful peaks and raising much needed funds for charity what a wonderful trip...
On June 29th - 3rd July 2012 the lucky adventurers will meet their horses in Burbion and ride through mountains to Trevélez, the highest village in Spain at an altitude of 1,700m, the trek continues towards the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada National Park.
Lingfield Park is supporting the trek, and staff Nicky Adams and Kate Hills are set to take part themselves. There is also the chance to use the All-Weather track at the racecourse for riders to get fit for the long hours in the saddle in Sierra Nevada!
With a limited number of places the charity is looking to raise vital funds to support Marie Curie Nurses nationally. Every £20 raised pays for an hour of nursing care in the home of a terminally ill patient, allowing them the choice to be at home, surrounded by loved ones.
If you would like to experience this amazing opportunity whilst raising much needed funds please call the Treks and Cycles Team on 020 7091 4112 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/overseas or email firstname.lastname@example.org
