Fabulous read - and not just for kids! Review by H&R Editor

This book should come with a health warning! I almost died of sleep deprivation simply because I couldn't put it down. Forget the fact it's aimed at children; this book is a great read whatever your age.

If you liked the Jill books as a kid, then you will love these. The author’s dry sense of humour comes across really well - there are numerous unforgettable lines. Plus, you really relate to the characters and grow fond of the ponies.

If you can’t quite bring yourself to buy a kiddie's book then buy it for a child you know and have a sneaky read when she’s not looking. (Posted on 06/11/2009)

I've known Jorja for AGES from her monthly journal in PONY Mag. When I found out there was going to be a proper Jorja novel I was really excited, and I wasn't let down. It's brilliant! I love Jorja and the High Stakes Horse! It's my favourite book ever. It arrived in a few days time after I ordered it and I read it from the second it arrived! Anyone who loves horses and reading books about them should read this book. Full stop! (Posted on 31/08/2009)
