Princess is the type of pony every girl dreams about, the real life Barbie pony! Dream pony Princess is newly broken and only been riding for about 2-3 months now, but don’t let her late start but you off. In this short time Princess has come on incredibly well, and has already competed in her first 70cm SJ competition. She’s proven to be both brave and honest over fences and is willing to give anything a try.
Princess also schools nicely in 3 balanced paces. We have found Princess to be responsive to both upwards and downwards transitions but not at all fast or fizzy.
I only introduced Princess to road work recently and have only hacked her out the once so far. During her first hack she passed horse boxes, trailers, vans, lawn mowers, bikes etc. Not once did Princess do anything silly or dangerous – she did jump when a car with an extremely loud engine passed her, but I can’t say I blame her! Much to my surprise Princess loves to hack! She pick her pace up and has her ears pricked for most of the ride and even liked to lead the way.
Dream pony Princess also has good ground manners she stands to be both groomed and tacked up. To catch she can be a bit reluctant but isn’t overly difficult. Most days she’s fine but sometimes you may need a handful of feed. Princess will also stable happily, but she does prefer to be out.
Princess is doing extremely well so far with her education, but I must stress how important it is that she goes to an EXPERIENCED home. I don’t doubt for a second that she’d make a lovely Pony Club or event pony with some more experience.
Princess can be stressy if unsettled, so her new owner will need to give her time to settle. Please note, although Princess isn’t a bucker, she has bucked with me twice while being broken, though nothing nasty.
Up to date with injections, farrier and worming.
Price is negotiable to help find Princess the best of homes.
