I would take a really spectacular wooden grooming kit, with lush, natural brushes, curry combs and gloves, stable rubbers, piles of clean cloths, baby powder and vinegar for thorough grooming - and polos to keep him from wandering off. If I was going to spend a month riding with no tack, I would want to make sure my horse was spotlessly clean.

Strong boots (for me), My horse is not careful where he puts his feet, and even if he was shoeless he weighs a ton (well, 500kg) and I don't want black toenails thank you very much! Also, sunscreen, for both our pink bits!
