Love riding on wax, rubber, plastic, sand, grass - or bridleways? What about hayfields, headland, country lanes? Jumping surface, dressage surface or all-purpose school?

I wake up in the middle of the night imagining the expletive-expletive of horse toes in early morning dewy grass in a grass jumping arena - and can't wait to get to the stables.

How odd - I love riding on grass. Far more natural and I've got so used to not having any facilities that I find it quite odd riding in a school even though I have two to choose from!

Mine has to be a rubber topped sand school. The rubber is a much softer landing than sand, woodchip, grass and tarmac road! When you come off it doesn't hurt as much i dont think!
