Laser pen

I've seen laser pens advertised which apparently help heal minor injuries. Does anyone know anything about them? Do they work and can you cause any damage with them?

I've never heard of those. Are they being used by vets or can you buy them to use yourself?

I think I've heard they can be used to treat minor burns, but I'm not sure if that's true or not.
