Opening ceremony

Postby Kaliska » Thu Jun 28, 2012 11:24 am

What are your thoughts on the Olympic Opening Ceremony - is it wrong to have animals loose and grazing, as well as sheepdogs herding?

Or do you agree and think that the animals will be used to large numbers of people and crowds and that it will add in a bit of Britain to the ceremony?

Very excited! Only problem is that my friends and I have to be up at 6am the next morning to catch our train to watch the dressage, so we can't party quite as much as we'd like.

Well, I thought the opening ceremony was fab - horses seemed chilled out and happy. Didn't see the sheepdog or sheep but there was so much going on! All the animals were loaded up and gone well before any fireworks, so all in all, an excellent spectacle!
