Horsey overnight hack

I'd love to do an overnight hack to somewhere local, stay overnight in a tent, then hack home again by a different route but how would I go about finding somewhere for the horse to stay? He won't be stabled. Would you just contact local yards and ask?

That sounds amazing! Nothing I've ever thought of, but def something I'd like to do. I love camping and taking my boy with me would make it perfect! No idea how you'd start looking into it! I'll ask around and keep you posted. Let me know if you manage to find anything out!

In fact, what would be really good would be to arrange a long weekend hacking from place to place and camping over each night! Would be fab with a small group of friends!
