looking for a horse or pony to look after

I am interested to know if anybody owns horses in the medway or kent area would be interested in some free help looking ater their horses at the weekend.

I am 20 and have been around horses since i was 5. I have 2 years work experience at an equine veterinary clinic and have worked as a part time groom at a full livery yard. I have looked after horses before all a range of ages, sizes and breeds starting with just 3 working up to 8! I was responsible for their care feeding, grooming, mucking out etc as well as exercising but unfortunately the owner had to give them up.

I miss being around horses and would like to be able to look after them again. I am willing to groom, muck out, poo pick, clean tack and any other jobs that you may like help with.

I am even willing to contribute towards costs in return for being able to look after a horse or pony.

Have you tried advertising in local tack shops and asking at local yards? That's normally the best way to find a horse to ride!
