Postby Horse Girl » Tue Oct 02, 2012 11:27 am

I have been lucky enough to have been given access to a horse to ride at the weekends for free. The horse has been out if eork for two years and the owners had got rid of all their tack. They have managed to borrow some but dont have a numnah.

I would like to buy them one but am unsure about sizes. She is a 14.2 connemara what size is goimg to be best. I want to buy it as a suprise si cant ask them. Cam any one help me?

She will probably be a cob or full size numnah depending on how chunkily built she is. However, please do ensure the owners get her saddle checked for fit as it could cause a lot of problems if it doesnt! :D

I reckon she'd most likely be a cob size too. Although it you're worried, too big is always better than too small. BTW saw another thread about 3 numnahs for £25 from Pink Equine! Might be useful if she has nothing at all.
