You and your horse are heading for a blissful month on a desert island. What would you take with you?

I would take a really spectacular wooden grooming kit, with lush, natural brushes, curry combs and gloves, stable rubbers, piles of clean cloths, baby powder and vinegar for thorough grooming - and polos to keep him from wandering off. If I was going to spend a month riding with no tack, I would want to make sure my horse was spotlessly clean.

Strong boots (for me), My horse is not careful where he puts his feet, and even if he was shoeless he weighs a ton (well, 500kg) and I don't want black toenails thank you very much! Also, sunscreen, for both our pink bits!

Surely there would be no bugs or biting insects on the desert island - otherwise I would have to give it all up for some good bug spray!

Sun cream! Some for my horse's white bits and the rest for my tan
