veteran regional qualifiers

I live in Derbyshire and have done VHS classes since they began. It usually takes me a few shows to get qualified for the regional final. This yearthere is only one in my area and that is 19th June. By then I will only have the chance to attend(never mind qualify!) 2 shows with VHS classes. After that I will be able to attend 7 but what is the point? Comments please

Why dont you look out for other local shows to get in some practice - they may have special veteran classes in their schedules, even if they arent VHS classes.
