Ladies Riding Tights
Once a novelty, riding tights are an increasingly popular legwear option for day-to-day riding. Their use of technical materials makes them a comfortable, and practical solution.
Our testers: Over a three month period, our testers put 22 riding tights through their paces both in the saddle and around the yard. They particularly considered the fit, ease of putting them on, grip in the saddle and how well they lasted after regular washing. Here’s what they said...

True to size. Really stretchy and comfy, with a mainstream, sports leggings styling. The lack of silicone seat meant there was little grip in the saddle, but still comfy to ride in. Washed well.

True to size, but quite long in the leg. Supportive, lightweight, breathable material made them perfect for warmer days. A good amount of grip. Dry quickly but seams are showing signs of wear.

We say…
True to size and good length. Thick, high waistband meant they stayed in placed, and the grip is excellent. Zip on the phone pocket was a good addition to store things safely. Washed well.

Smart, stylish and stayed cool during warm weather. Best paired with a belt as the mid-rise design meant the waistband could slip slightly while riding. The full-seat grip has performed well and is showing no signs of wear. Great for summer competing, but would’ve liked a pocket if using for everyday. Washed well, didn’t stain and they dried really quickly.Â

We say…
Comfortable fit with more grip than many other pairs. Had a tendency to slip down during yard work so would’ve benefited from belt loops, although this wasn’t a problem while riding. Great design with good-sized pockets on both legs. They’ve stood up well to regular use and the grip hasn’t worn.
