£500,000 pledged to support equestrian retail stores

Leading businessman David Mitson, whose investment company have brands including Gatehouse, Mark Todd Collection and Science Supplements under their umbrella, has pledged £500,000 to support equestrian stores struggling due to the coronavirus outbreak.

“We’re in uncharted waters with the likelihood of the economic downturn affecting many equestrian stores throughout the country,” says David. “Many of these stores have been loyal customers to our brands and the challenges some may now be facing are unprecedented.”

HLM Investment Group, of which David is CEO, are well-versed in investing in businesses across different sectors having a portfolio of over £50m and Mitson is himself involved in racing, showjumping and showing.
