Leave a legacy that will help support the world’s largest equine charity

Animal welfare charity Brooke has launched a new free will-writing service, encouraging people to leave a gift in their wills to help donkeys, horses and mules in need around the world. Brooke offers three simple options for anyone wanting to write their will – online, over the phone or face to face – delivered in partnership with Farewill and the National Free Wills Network (NFWN).

Gifts left in wills account for more than 50% of Brooke’s annual income, which shows that leaving a legacy can offer powerful, long-term support for animals, protecting them for generations to come.

As part of the NFWN, Brooke has partnered with 800 trusted solicitors across the UK who can help people write or update their wills. The NFWN sends them a will pack with a list of local solicitors to choose from.

Lifelong horse lover and actress Pam St Clement was inspired to support Brooke by leaving a gift in her will. She said: “It’s easy to forget that one can help animals even after your death. It came to my mind when I was reviewing my will, and, of course, I want to help Brooke after I’ve gone.

“Working animals are beautiful and intelligent creatures and Brooke does a tremendous job helping people care for their horses, donkeys and mules”.
