While the dressage horses have a two-day rest following completion of the first phase of the team medal competition on Tuesday and Wednesday, the showjumping competition gets underway today in Paris.

This means the French and Mexican teams travelling reserves are called up to compete – Olivier Perreau and Dorai D’Aiguilly for the home nation (alongside Simon Delestre/I Amelusina R 51 and Julien Epaillard/Dubai du Cedre) and Federico Fernandez and Romeo (alongside Eugenio Garza Perez/Contago and Hank Guerreiro/Porthos Maestro WHZ for Mexico).
The first combination, Ismael Garcia Roque and Tirano, riding for Spain, will jump today at 10am BST.
There was a last-minute Team GB horse substitution for Ben Maher, which means the British team is now made up of Ben riding Dallas Vegas Batilly, Harry Charles and Romeo 88 and Scott Brash with Jefferson. The team are drawn 10th, and Ben will be the first rider to jump.
