Hundreds of charities set to receive £1,000 in Movement for Good Awards

The parent company of SEIB Insurance Brokers launch their Movement for Good awards, with nominated charities in with a chance of winning £1,000

With nominations open from 6–24 May 2020, it’s quick and easy to nominate your favourite charity online. Winners will be drawn at random, so the more times a charity is nominated, the higher its chance of being selected as part of the Movement for Good Awards.

SEIB’s Chief Executive Officer, Barry Fehler, said: “As we all know, in the current climate many charities are really struggling. £1,000 can make such a difference and we want to make sure that as many charities as possible have the chance to be nominated. These awards have come at a time when they are so very needed.”

Mark Hews, Group CEO of SEIB’s parent company, Ecclesiastical, says: “We’re delighted to announce the launch of Ecclesiastical’s Movement for Good awards for the second year running. The coronavirus is having a major impact on charities and many are facing financial difficulties. Our Movement for Good awards will continue to help charities at a time when they need it most and we know that for many charities, £1,000 can make a real difference.

“We were thrilled to receive so many nominations from the public last year, and this year we’re encouraging even more people to nominate a good cause. Ecclesiastical is owned by a charity, which means all available profits can be given to the good causes that are so important to our customers. As a company whose purpose is to contribute to the greater good of society, charitable giving is at the heart of our business.”
