SEIB qualifier shows

Ready to hit the ground running this show season? SEIB Search for a Star launches its first set of qualifiers at brand new Warwickshire-based competition

The team behind SEIB Search for a Star is delighted to confirm that its first ridden qualifiers of the year are set to take place on 2 April at the all-new Warwickshire Spring Fair, Dallas Burston Polo Grounds, Warwickshire. Amateur riders and their horses and ponies will have the opportunity to compete for a ticket to the Search for a Star finals at Your Horse Live this November in three classes that are brand-new to the series for 2021.

The three qualifying classes will be for part-bred Traditional Gypsy Cobs (any colour or type and not limited to coloureds), veteran horses and veteran ponies (for horses aged 18 or over).

Show organiser, Loraine Homer said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed putting this show together and now we’re heading out of lockdown, giving people something to work toward. I’m confident we can run a safe, happy and fun show.”

SEIB Marketing Manager, Nicolina MacKenzie said: “We’re very excited to be offering these new classes as they provide an extra opportunity for the many enthusiastic amateur owners and riders out there to have the chance to compete on the big stage.”

Search for a Star is purely for amateur riders and this rule is very strictly enforced. The series was set up over 20 years ago to give amateur riders an exicitng opportunity to ride at some of the country’s top championships. SEIB has a long association with the showing world and is renowned for ‘putting something back’ by supporting many equestrian events and activities in addition to Search for a Star.
