With just over a week until voting closes, Redwings urges supporters to vote for its animated film about beloved horse, Boo, to help them secure the win at the Charity Film Awards

Redwings Horse Sanctuary’s touching film ‘A Second Chance for Boo’ is a finalist in the £5–£20 million category at the prestigious Charity Awards. The winner will be decided by a judging panel and announced at a ceremony in London on 22 March.

However, there’s also a chance they could also secure the coveted People’s Choice Award in the same category – and this is where you can help. Every vote counts, so be quick to get in yours in by Friday 18 March. Visit: smileymovement.org/organisations/redwings-horse-sanctuary

The awards celebrate the use of film by the third sector to change mindsets and raise awareness of the work they do. Nicolas Loufrani, CEO of Smiley Movement, said: “Nothing captures hearts and minds like film. These amazing films from wonderful causes absolutely demonstrate the importance of film for charitable campaigning.

“It’s vital we support all causes – big or small. A huge congratulations to all the Finalists, who should be delighted with the public support for their films through the campaign. We’re incredibly proud that Smiley Movement’s investment in the Charity Film Awards has already generated 500,000 additional views on these films.”
