Imagine cycling alongside some of the biggest names in the equestrian world, all while raising vital funds for life-changing causes. The Cycle4Caroline charity ride offers you the chance to do just that, with its grand finale from Windsor Castle to The Savoy Hotel in London.
The ambitious 1,200km journey begins this morning at Scotland’s Blair Castle and concludes on Saturday, November 30, in the heart of London. The challenge, launched by renowned equestrians Piggy and Tom March, seeks to raise an incredible £500,000 for Spinal Research and the British Eventing Support Trust.
Meet the riders
This star-studded ride brings together an inspiring group of equestrian athletes, including three-time Olympian Ian Stark OBE, multi-medallist Holly Woodhead, and Piggy’s sister, Nini French, herself a top-level eventing rider. Joining them is Brett Bullimore, husband of European bronze medalist Sarah Bullimore, as well as Racesafe’s Tommy How.
A particularly inspiring figure joining the ride is Catriona Williams MNZM, founder of the SCI Research Trust. Once one of New Zealand’s top equestrian riders, Catriona became tetraplegic following a riding accident in 2002. She is traveling from New Zealand to take part and exemplifies the resilience and determination that this event celebrates.
