The long-awaited dates and venues for the SEIB Search for a Star and Racehorse to Riding Horse classes have finally been announced
A firm favourite among amateur competitors on the show circuit, SEIB Search for a Star and Racehorse to Riding Horse qualifier dates and venues have been announced. Each venue will hold a qualifying class for each of the nine classes, including two brand-new ones – Search for a Star veteran horse or pony and Search for a Star part-bred traditional cob.
The dates and venues are as follows…
- 12 July, Richmond Equestrian Centre
- 28 July, Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex
- 29 July, Stoneleigh Park
- 9 August, West Wilts Equestrian Centre
- 23 August, Bury Farm Equestrian Club
The finals at HOYS include hacks, riding horses, hunters, working pony, working horses, traditional gypsy cobs, show cobs and the long-standing SEIB Racehorse to Riding horse class. Meanwhile, Search for a Star qualifiers in the mountain and moorland, veteran horse or pony and part-bred traditional cob classes will go to Your Horse Live for their championships.
SEIB Marketing Manager, Nicolina MacKenzie said: “We’ve worked hard and benefited from the generosity and flexibility of plenty of different people to pull these dates and venues together within a really tight timetable. We’re quietly excited to have the dates to look forward to and very much hope to get the series well-underway at Richmond on 12 July.”
