World Horse Welfare is delighted to be hosting a charity polo day at the prestigious Guards Polo Club on July 10th within the outstanding natural surroundings of Smith’s Lawn, Windsor.

This is the international equine charity’s key summer event and is an important opportunity to raise funds for vital rescue work and training projects in the UK and overseas. The charity is thrilled to welcome dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Kauto Star as special guest. The champion is now active in the dressage world and is a wonderful example of a horse that has gone on to enjoy a second career after racing.

The charity day starts with a drinks reception at noon, followed by a wonderful three-course lunch and a thrilling afternoon of top class polo. Afternoon tea will follow the winners’ presentations. The featured match is the semi-final of the Phoenician Cup, which is a highly competitive 12-goal tournament. Around 200 guests are expected to enjoy this fun day – among them some well-known faces from across the equestrian world. A unique auction and exclusive raffle will raise funds for World Horse Welfare’s work helping needy horses all over the world.

Tickets to this event are set at £110pp and there are a limited number of tables available. There are also sponsorship and advertising opportunities.

To purchase tickets or for any more information, please email: Lucie Stangl [email protected] or call 0207 038 3816, alternatively call Vicki Campling on 01953497247.
