Robert Whitaker, son of John, is a very successful showjumper who has ridden on the British team on numerous occasions. He has also been British Open Show Jumping Champion an impressive three times.

Part of the Whitaker showjumping dynasty, Robert has represented Great Britain from pony level through to the senior ranks. He holds the world record for bareback puissance, clearing 2.12m in 2011 aboard Finbarr. He has been the British Open Champion three times.
Robert trains and competes out of his base in Kent.
