A lightweight LED high-vis vest that has been excellent to use out hacking. I am normally a size 18 and went for a large to allow for wearing it over a jacket and this fitted perfectly. It zipped up, so there was no flapping and it stayed in place well. It made me feel I had given drivers the best chance of seeing me. There was a button for turning the vest on and off and light options (constant or flashing), with white lights in front and red behind. The lights were dotted around the torso, so drivers can tell they’re seeing a person. With the added reflective strips, it worked really well at keeping me visible. You can remove and recharge the USB battery but it lasted for a long time. Overall, it has worn well and I would recommend it.Â
How much do you know about stereotypies? This is the scientific term for any repetitive behaviour. In horses, the most common are crib-biting, windsucking, weaving and box walking. In May Horse&Rider, Dr Debbie Marsden shares her advice for dealing with stereotypic behaviours. Check out a sneak peek here. www.horseandrideruk.com/the-magazine/issues/may-2024/force-of-habit/...
