It’s similar to an exercise sheet and covers the back from wither to loins. The back warmer worked really well on my cold-backed horse. It goes on under his rug for about 10 minutes before tacking up, and he’s much happier with both the saddle and a rider on as a result. It’s useful while lungeing, too, or while your horse is on the walker. It has a surcingle loop, fillet string and a D-ring on both sides for attaching a breastplate, making it easy to fit.
