8hh 7 year old Skewbald Shetland Pony Mare

Overview

Beau is a 7 year old shetland pony mare who is seeking a new home either as a companion/broodmare or a project for someone to carry on with. Beau was completely feral when she came to me and in a right sorry state. She’s now 100% healthy again and has started the process of breaking in. As you can imagine there was loads of ground work that needed to be done first. Beau will now pick up all 4 feet on command. She has ground manners to die for. She’s great in the stable and will even give you a fist bump. Beau will lunge completely off voice alone, she has long reigned and lunged both with and without tack. She has been bitted and wears a bridle nicely. She has had a child sat on her but we’ve not done any work with a child on. She’s good to load, travel, farrier etc clipping she’s good on her body not fond of her legs but wouldn’t take a-lot to bring her round.

Beau is up to date with worming, farrier, dentist etc. She is passported, but is not registered. Price to include her tack and rugs. As mentioned Beau has had a really bad past. So she can be nervous of new people, it doesn’t take a million moons to win her round though. She literally will follow you like a dog if you give her a treat or two. Pleaseno time wasters, this sale is already too much for me to bare.
