We say…
The finish on this hat was very smart, the harness was super soft while still feeling secure, and it was straightforward to do up and release. The changeable inserts are a great feature to ensure a good fit. I have a small head but the shape of the Halo was very flattering. It was very lightweight which allowed for a good range of head and neck movement, while still giving comfort and support. The ventilation was brilliant, plus having the removable headband that’s washable was a lot more hygienic. The hat showed no signs of wear during the test period and it came with a velvet drawstring bag to protect it while not being used, which was a nice added touch.Â
How much do you know about stereotypies? This is the scientific term for any repetitive behaviour. In horses, the most common are crib-biting, windsucking, weaving and box walking. In May Horse&Rider, Dr Debbie Marsden shares her advice for dealing with stereotypic behaviours. Check out a sneak peek here. www.horseandrideruk.com/the-magazine/issues/may-2024/force-of-habit/...
