Showjumping ambassadors Joe Stockdale and Jack Whitaker test their skills in the Defender ahead of Royal Windsor Horse Show

Royal Windsor Horse Show is fast approaching and runs from 10-14 May. The show’s principal partner, Land Rover Defender, is once again hosting the popular Defender Experience Day, which top showjumpers Joe Stockdale and Jack Whitaker have already been enjoying.

Ahead of the show, Joe and Jack headed to Herefordshire to participate in a demanding off-road experience that put the Defender through its paces across difficult terrain. Later in the day, Joe and Jack tried their hands in a highly technical skills test with a twist. In a controlled environment and under special supervision, Joe took the wheel blindfolded, while Jack had the task of guiding him around a course of obstacles and steep hills – but from outside the car.

Following the challenge, Jack joked: “Joe did well under my instruction and avoided hitting the flags on this test. We make a good team, and he might need me in the ring at Royal Windsor to help.”
