Tickets for this year’s Bicton International Horse Trial go on sale

If you suffer from the Badminton blues when it’s all over, then going to Bicton International could be the quick fix you need to get you in the mood again. Bicton will run from the 25-28 May with many top riders and horses competing, including world number one and two duo Tim and Jonelle Price.

Based at the Clinton Devon Estate, Bicton was used as a replacement for the Bramham Horse Trials in 2021 due to Covid but it’s now an ongoing and popular fixture on the eventing calendar. Competitors from one-horse amateurs to world-class riders can enjoy a packed timetable of activities.

Commenting on what spectators can expect, Bicton Arena manager Andrew Fell said: “This event will host a huge number of potential 2024 Olympians – it’s a perfect step on the pathway in preparation for selection.  Some of the most elegant, athletic and majestic horses will be showing what they are made of in all three phases of dressage, showjumping and super-exciting cross-country through the beautiful Bicton parkland. We will also have a large trade stand area and the best of the Southwest’s catering.”
