2021 was a vintage year for Yasmin Ingham and the mighty Banzai Du Loir. The young rider showed nerves of steel to hold on to her impressive lead established in the dressage phase on day one of the competition, by not adding a single penalty in the jumping phases to remain on her fantastic dressage score of 25.2. A remarkable performance by the tenacious partnership to win the CCI4*-L.  In April 2022, the pair travelled to the US to compete at the Kentucky three-day event – Banzai’s five-star debut – and pulled off a brilliant result when they finished second behind Michael Jung on FischerChipmunk FRH.

Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials provides the perfect day out or weekend away for families, friends, and groups. The campsite is just a short walk away from the main event site, where you can soak up the exhilarating eventing action from the precision of dressage to the excitement of the cross-country course, there is also lots more going on at Blenheim. From falconry, gundog, mounted police and BMX displays to a meet and greet with the sensational This Esme, a family fun zone including Sam’s Funky Fun Inflatables, dog show and lots more all taking place against the backdrop of the stunning and iconic Blenheim Palace. Under 18s can attend Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials for free.
